EDDM Route Explorer — Map & Select USPS Carrier Routes by ZIP
Search any US address or 5-digit ZIP code, see every USPS carrier route in the area on a live map, and pick the neighborhoods you want to reach. Each route shows the number of households and businesses it covers, so you know exactly how many mailpieces your campaign needs before you spend anything.
How it works
- Search your area. Enter a ZIP code or street address. The map loads the USPS carrier routes within a 1–5 mile radius you control.
- Pick your routes. Click routes on the map or in the table. Household counts, business counts, and estimated postage update as you go. Route data comes from USPS and includes neighborhood profile estimates — median income, median age, household size — so you can target the areas that fit your customer.
- Choose your piece. Postcards, flyers, or sell sheets in every USPS-approved EDDM size, on stocks like 100lb gloss cover with aqueous coating.
- See your exact price. Print, mailing service, and USPS postage are itemized before checkout. Postage passes through at the USPS rate of $0.26 per piece — we do not mark it up.
What full service includes
We print your pieces, bundle them by carrier route with facing slips, prepare the USPS paperwork, and deliver the mailing to the post office that serves your selected routes. You choose the routes and approve the artwork; the rest is handled. No mailing permit, no address list, and no trip to the post office is required — that is the point of Every Door Direct Mail.
Who uses the route explorer
Restaurants and local retail announcing openings and offers, home-services companies filling a service area, real estate agents farming neighborhoods, medical and dental practices reaching nearby households, and agencies running local campaigns for their clients. If your customers are the households around you, saturating the right carrier routes is usually the lowest cost-per-door way to reach them.
Common questions
Do I need a mailing list?
No. EDDM delivers to every address on the routes you choose. Pieces are addressed to "Postal Customer," so there is no list to buy or maintain.
How many homes can I reach?
Single carrier routes typically cover a few hundred to around a thousand addresses. Select several routes and the explorer totals the exact count for you, up to USPS's limit of 5,000 pieces per ZIP code per day for EDDM Retail.
What does it cost?
The total is print + mailing service + postage at the USPS pass-through rate. The explorer shows your exact itemized price for your exact routes and piece before you pay — there is no quote request or callback step.
