EDDM Shipping & Delivery
How your order gets where it's going depends on the service: with Full Service we mail it through USPS for you, and with Print Only we ship the printed cards to you. Either way, your date is shown before you pay.
Full Service: we mail it
We print, bundle by carrier route, complete the USPS paperwork and deliver your mailing to USPS. Nothing is shipped to you.
- Your mail date is shown before you pay.
- Delivered by USPS as saturation mail, with no tracking number per piece.
- No shipping charge: postage is included, as its own line.
Print Only: we ship to you
We print your pieces and ship the boxed order to your address, bundled in 50s or 100s if you choose bundling. You take it to the Post Office.
- Ships by UPS or FedEx ground once production is complete.
- Ground transit is typically 1–5 business days, depending on distance.
- Shipping options and costs for your address are shown at checkout.

Delivery to USPS
We prepare the USPS paperwork and deliver the bundled mailing to USPS for the mail date shown before you paid.
USPS in-home delivery
USPS carriers deliver to every address on your routes on their own schedule. USPS does not guarantee EDDM delivery dates.

How a Print Only order reaches you

Production begins once your artwork is approved and your order is paid. Shipping is taxed along with printing; USPS postage, which you pay at the counter, is not. The EDDM guide covers the bundle and facing-slip rules, and Print Only explains the service.
A few things to know about timing
- Transit starts after production. Shipping days are counted once your order leaves the facility, not from the day you order.
- Distance drives transit time. Orders print at facilities across the U.S., and ground transit depends on how far you are from the one printing your order.
- Faster methods are optional. Ground estimates don't apply if you choose 2-Day or Overnight at checkout.
- Holidays and weather can add time. Carrier and postal holidays are not business days, and weather can delay carriers and USPS alike.
- Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. EDDM2GO is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather or USPS processing.
Shipping questions
Is my EDDM Full Service order shipped to me?
No. Full Service pieces go from the printer to USPS for delivery to every address on your routes. Nothing is shipped to your home or business.
How long does Print Only shipping take?
Print Only orders ship by ground once production is complete; ground transit is typically 1–5 business days depending on distance. Faster methods and their prices are shown at checkout for your address.
When will my EDDM mail reach homes?
Your mail date (Full Service) or ship date (Print Only) is shown before you pay. After the mailing reaches USPS, carriers deliver on their own schedule, and USPS does not guarantee EDDM delivery dates, so plan events with a buffer.
Is shipping taxed?
Yes. Sales tax of 8.25% is added at checkout on everything except USPS postage, including Print Only shipping.
