Mailed to every door on the routes you choose: we bundle by carrier route, prepare the USPS forms and handle the Post Office drop-off. You approve the file; the neighborhood gets the flyer.

EDDM size rules and every size drawn to scale

Why 9 × 11 qualifies for EDDM

Every Door Direct Mail only accepts flats. USPS counts a piece as a flat when it is longer than 10.5 inches, taller than 6.125 inches or thicker than 0.25 inch, and no bigger than 15 × 12 inches. It clears two rules at once: 11 inches long (over 10.5) and 9 inches high (over 6.125).

Send a press-ready PDF with 0.125" on every edge bleed and keep text 0.125" (1/8") inside trim. Every file gets a press-ready check before it prints, and you approve a proof first. The 9 × 11 template carries the trim, bleed and the USPS indicia area at the right size.

9 × 11 EDDM flyer FAQs

Does a 9 × 11 flyer qualify for EDDM?

Yes. USPS counts a piece as a flat, the shape EDDM requires, when it is longer than 10.5 inches, taller than 6.125 inches or thicker than 0.25 inch. It clears two rules at once: 11 inches long (over 10.5) and 9 inches high (over 6.125).

What size should my 9 × 11 file be?

Build the file at 9.25 × 11.25 inches: the 9 × 11 trim plus 0.125 inch of bleed on every edge. Keep text and logos inside the 8.75 × 10.75 inch safe area so nothing is lost when the sheet is cut.

What is the difference between print-only and full service?

Print only means we print your flyers and ship them to you, and you take them to the Post Office yourself. Full service means you pick the routes on our map, and we also bundle by route, handle the USPS paperwork and deliver the mailing to USPS, so you never visit the Post Office.

What stock are EDDM flyers printed on?

100 lb gloss cover with an aqueous coat, which keeps print cost down on larger sheets while still feeling substantial. If you want a stiffer piece at the same size, look at the sell sheet on thick 16pt card.

Can a flyer carry a full menu or price list?

That is the main reason to choose one. Sizes like 8.5 × 11 and 8.5 × 14 hold a complete menu or service list on one face and still leave the back for a map, hours and an offer.

Which flyer size should I pick?

8.5 × 11 is the letter-size standard for menus and service lists; 9 × 12 gives the most space per piece. Smaller panels like 4.25 × 11 suit single offers. Every size listed here meets USPS EDDM flat rules.

Who handles the USPS requirements?

We do. Flyers are bundled by carrier route with a facing slip on each bundle, the postage statement is prepared, and the mailing is delivered to USPS. Postage is included in your price and shown as its own line.

How do I choose which neighborhoods get it?

The route map shows every carrier route around your location with address counts. Pick the routes that match where your customers already come from; the piece then goes to every address on those routes.

Why does the Full Service price depend on my routes?

USPS charges postage per piece and every carrier route has a different number of addresses. When you select routes on the map, the piece count is known exactly, and the printing, mailing and postage lines are priced for that count. The quantity on this page is only an estimate to show the range.

What file format should I send?

A press-ready PDF is best, with 0.125 inch bleed on every edge and important content kept 1/8 inch (0.125 inch) inside the trim.

Will I receive a proof before printing?

Yes. Every order includes a press-ready file check, and you approve a proof before anything prints or mails.

When does my mailing go out?

You pick the mail date when you select routes. Production runs first; the mailing is delivered to USPS for that date.
