Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) is a USPS marketing program that lets any business, large or small, deliver mail to every address along a carrier route without a mailing list, a bulk mail permit or any customer data.
You select the areas you want to reach by ZIP code, carrier route or neighborhood, and USPS delivers to every residential address, or every address, on those routes. EDDM postage is $0.26 per piece, well below First-Class Mail, which makes it one of the most cost-effective ways to reach a whole neighborhood.

What's the difference between EDDM Print Only and Full Service?
With Print Only, we print your mailers and ship them to you. You take them to the Post Office serving your routes, complete the USPS paperwork and pay postage there. With Full Service, we print, bundle by carrier route, prepare the USPS paperwork and deliver the mailing to USPS, with postage included. You upload your file and pick your routes.
What size postcard should I use for EDDM?
6.5 × 9 is our most popular size: it clears the USPS height rule for flats with a familiar postcard feel. 6.25 × 9 is the classic standard. For more room, 6.5 × 12 or 6 × 12 postcards, or 8.5 × 11 and 9 × 12 flyers and sell sheets. Every size we offer qualifies as an EDDM flat.
How fast is turnaround?
You choose the production time when you configure your order, and each option shows its price before you pay; the prices on this site use the slowest, lowest-priced option. For Full Service, you also pick the mail date when you select routes, and the mailing is delivered to USPS for that date after a person on our team checks the order and you approve the proof.
Do I need a mailing list for EDDM?
No, and that is one of the biggest benefits of EDDM. You choose carrier routes by ZIP code or neighborhood on our route map, and your mailers go to every residential address, or every address, on those routes. No list to buy and no names to print.
What is an affordable way to mail postcards to a whole neighborhood?

What file format do I need?
A print-ready PDF works best: 0.125 inch bleed on every side, 300 DPI images, CMYK colour and fonts embedded. You upload during ordering, and the file is checked before anything prints. The file setup guide covers the details.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
A Full Service mailing is at least one carrier route, and most routes hold a few hundred addresses or more; the route map shows the exact count for every route before you pay. For Print Only, USPS EDDM Retail asks for at least 200 pieces per ZIP code per day at the Post Office. The price per piece falls as the quantity rises.
