What is a sell sheet?
A single heavy sheet, usually letter size, carrying a price list, service menu or product line-up. For EDDM it mails flat, so every household on the route gets the full page.
What makes a sell sheet different from a flyer?
Stock weight. Sell sheets are made for thick 16pt card, the same family as our postcards, while flyers print on 100 lb gloss cover. The 16pt sheet costs more to print but survives the mailbox crisply and reads as a keep-it piece. A sell sheet can also be printed on 100 lb gloss, which makes it the same sheet as a flyer.
Which sizes does the sell sheet come in?
Five EDDM flat sizes: 8 × 10, 8.5 × 11, 9 × 11, 9 × 12 and 8.5 × 14. The same sizes exist as flyers, so you can price both and compare.
When is a sell sheet the wrong choice?
If your message is one offer and a phone number, a postcard does the same job for less. Sell sheets earn their cost when the extra space and stiffness carry a portfolio, a price sheet or a premium brand.
Does heavier stock change the postage?
Not at these sizes. EDDM flats pay one rate up to the USPS 3.3 oz ceiling, and a 16pt sheet at these sizes is well under it.
What is the difference between print-only and full service?
Print only means we print your sell sheets and ship them to you, and you take them to the Post Office yourself. Full service means you pick the routes on our map, and we also bundle by route, handle the USPS paperwork and deliver the mailing to USPS, so you never visit the Post Office.
What USPS rules apply to my drop-off?
The EDDM Retail rules: pieces addressed to "Postal Customer", bundles with facing slips, PS Form 3587, a 200-piece minimum per ZIP per day, and drop-off at the Post Office that serves your chosen routes.
Is the print-only sell sheet the same product as the full-service one?
Yes. Same card stock, same sizes, same printing. The difference is who deals with USPS: on Print Only the boxes ship to you, and the paperwork, postage and drop-off are yours.
How should I weigh sell sheets against flyers for print-only?
Flyers cost less per piece; sell sheets are printed on thick card stock and land with more authority. If the piece carries a premium offer or a portfolio, the card stock usually earns its cost. If it is a price-driven circular, print the flyer.
What file format should I send?
A press-ready PDF is best, with 0.125 inch bleed on every edge and important content kept 1/8 inch (0.125 inch) inside the trim.
Will I receive a proof before printing?
Yes. Every order includes a press-ready file check, and you approve a proof before anything prints.
How do I track my order?
