Why 6.25" × 9" EDDM works for real estate agents

Geographic farming is a long-standing way for agents to become the known name in a neighborhood. EDDM removes the biggest barrier: there is no address list to buy or manage. Mail every home in your farm area with just-listed, just-sold, and market update cards that keep your name in front of owners through every market cycle.

Real Estate Agents campaign ideas for this mailer

• Monthly farm mailer

A consistent monthly card to your farm area. Rotate market updates, neighborhood news, and service offers. Frequency is what builds recognition, so plan the whole year up front.

• Just listed / just sold

Print a card for every transaction in your farm area. Just-listed creates interest; just-sold shows results. Neighbors who see results become your next leads.

• Sale anniversary drop

Mail the farm area around the anniversary of a past sale on the street: 'A year ago a home on your street sold. Here is what yours could be worth today.'

Laying out a real estate mailer at 6.25" × 9"

At 6.25" × 9" space is tight, so keep the front to one offer and one call to action, and move everything else to the back. Put the property photo or market headline first and your headshot and brokerage second. Keep required brokerage disclosures on the back, clear of the indicia and address block.

• Artboard with bleed: 6.5 × 9.25 in; trim: 6.25 × 9 in
• Keep your phone number, offer and logo inside the 6 × 8.75 in safe area
• At 6.25 inches on its short side it clears the 6.125-inch height rule by 0.125 inch; the 9-inch length is under 10.5, so height is the qualifying dimension.
