Why 6" × 12" EDDM works for gyms & fitness studios

Fitness is hyper-local and seasonal, with January and September as the two big sign-up windows. EDDM lets you reach every household within a couple of miles of your location with an intro offer when motivation is highest.

Gyms & Fitness Studios campaign ideas for this mailer

• New year push

Mail your surrounding routes in late December so the card lands in the first days of January, when motivation peaks. 'New year, first month on us.'

• Pre-summer campaign

An April or May mailer that captures pre-summer motivation. Highlight group classes and offer a trial period.

• Back-to-school September

Reach parents who have more free time once kids are back in school, and position your studio as the way to use it.

Laying out a gyms & fitness mailer at 6" × 12"

At 6" × 12" there is room for a headline offer on the front and supporting detail (services, hours, a map or a QR code) on the back. An action photo, the intro offer, and a date it ends. Class types and a map pin or cross streets belong on the back.

• Artboard with bleed: 6.25 × 12.25 in; trim: 6 × 12 in
• Keep your phone number, offer and logo inside the 5.75 × 11.75 in safe area
• Its 12-inch length clears the 10.5-inch rule, even though the 6-inch height does not, so length is the qualifying dimension.
